I respect anyone’s point of view. The big-bang theory is a major aspect that is thrown around and how the world started, but just like I said, you believe whatever you want to believe. I believe anything that they are teaching me. The way I see the world starting is, the god’s way. Seven days it took him to create the planet. Evolution is the process of change in the traits of a population of organisms from one generation to the next. Some times I find the Adam and Eve story hard to be the truth, or believable. I find Evolutoin the truth because the history of evolution is so interesting and it always has a story behind it. The evoltuoion process has proof and how it came about. Anyways, thats what I find the truth. =]

First of all, I don’t think I really would want to learn anything from my mom’s culture. For some reason, I never wanted to see that side of my culture. It always reminds me about poverty and how people over there beg for new lives. Besides, the holidays, such as Christmas is distinguished really close to the way we celebrated. My dad is Mexican. In his side of the family has lots of fun and treat everything in a focused way. In Christmas, in
Mexico, my dad told me that the people walk around streets and sing to the houses around the block. The all gather food and at mid-night they gather around a campfire and sing to Jesus and create a festival. On January, there is a day of the three kings and the kids get a toy and a candy, and then celebrate by playing and dancing. You might think that just because your parents tell you that they had a lot of freedom in their country, that doesn’t mean that they don’t have other responsibilities around and outside their houses. In
Mexico, the kids had only three responsibilities. First of all, they had to go to the store and get milk. Secondly, go to school, lastly finish you homework and stay out of your parents’ way when they cook. And that’s only what they did in the weekdays. Anyways that’s all that I would want to know about my culture.

I think I would out many things into my time capsule. But I’ll start from greatest to least. The most important is going to be holidays. The greastest mexican holiday is Cinco de Mayo. I love this holiday because every time I see people run along the streets and they’re happy and yelling “Viva Mexico!” i enjoy yelling aswell. I would also put music as a item. the reason i would put music is because the mexican music is all about dance and happiness. Dance is a great item i would also put. Dance is so good because you would have to dance to it or else they would laugh at you and ask you over and over til u dance. i would have to dance with a partner (always had to be a girl) so i would dance so much better.

There are many ways people would define success. the way i define success is happiness. if you have happiness you have everything you need to live and stay heathly. If you don’t have something you don’t have you would have to try a little harder in your job or whatever you do to stay happy. Happiness is great to have and it’s wonderful to keep. happiness is the way I wold define success.

The Case

In 1951, 14 people were accused of criminal actions, and charged for violating the Smith act passed by the government. The Smith act was an act passed that stated that people may not overthrow, or take down any part of government. A person named Weather Yates, who was a leader of a political party, stated that her party was taking part in the so call bringing down of the government. But the truth is that they only believed in bringing it down, they were planning and were practicing it, which believes like I said. But in the constitution and the smith act themselves, doesn’t state that the person can’t believe in destroying it, but the only way to be charged of criminal acts was to actually do the action. So Weather Yates and his or her party were acquitted.

For the decision (Manuel)

In m opinion i think that the decision of the case was fair. The reason why i think that the case was fair is becasue they didnt really do any sort of harm to the government. They didn’t casue any damage. they just beileved in the action to bring it down. so you can’t just badly accuse someone of beleiving in something.

Against the decision(Andres)

I dont think that its is very constitutional to let any future criminals go. Because if you think of it, you could have cought a very bad criminal ,becasue all criminals plan before they act. If you find someone with foul files that have stated information about the the government you can use that as evidence.

.

I think that this was the best project that I have ever had. I have had many projects in the past, but I always like to work in groups. this project was great for me because I worked with other kids that lived thousands of miles away from me. This was cool because I saw how other kids felt about the topic. I have done this kind of project before. I have communicated with Shanghai, China. It was a fun experience i like when we would have the Skype calls with them. I was so happy when I heard that we were going to do it again with Canada. This time when we chatted with Canada, we had more Communication, more fun, and more work to do. I hope that we can have another one to do. There were lots of challenges.

I think this book was very different then any other book that I have ever read. The author made it violent and gory for the reader. The big reason i like and enjoyed the book because it would show you how life was for these kids, The outsiders. I really like this book and I recommended to any type of readers.

The word I chose for Chapters nine and ten was fear. Fear totally describes what and how the characters are feeling during the both chapters. The gang prepares for a fight with some of the other Socs in the neighborhood, and they’re all anxious and fearful that something terrible was about to happen. Since Johnny and Dally are in the hospital, they were beat up and they did not fight because they might get injured even more. Despite the Soc’s warnings, Dally still comes to the rumble and fights the Socs. After the rumble, the Greasers won and they went to the hospital to check on Johnny because they feared that he was dying. Johnny eventually dies and Dally gets killed too. Two members of the gang have been killed. Fear is the right word for these chapters.

I think the 5th and the 6th chapters of the Outsiders were based on the word survival. I really think it was survival because right after they had killed the Soc, they were force to run and become fugitives. then they started to look for a place to hide from the Socs and the cops. Lateron they had found a old church in Windrixville. They use it for a hiding place and they had to hide at the church so on one at all could find them.During the time when the stayed at the church, they found out ways or they adapted different ways to survive in the church. This is what i think the chapters five and six were all based on the word Servival
